"Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" is a song by Hillsong UNITED, released in 2013 as the lead single from their album Zion. Written by Matt Crocker, Salomon Ligthelm, Joel Houston, and recorded by live band on 4 March 2013 at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia. The song is a modern worship anthem that speaks of faith, trust and surrender. It is based on the biblical passage of Jesus walking on water and encourages the listener to trust in God's faithfulness despite the uncertainty and difficulty of life's journey. The song contains a powerful chorus that speaks of God's faithfulness: "You call me out upon the waters / The great unknown, where feet may fail / And there I find You in the mystery / In oceans deep, my faith will stand". The song was a huge success, reaching No. 2 on the US Christian Songs and Hot Christian Songs charts, and No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song won the 2014 Dove Award for Worship Song of the Year and was nominated for two Grammy Awards.
